Governor Bago Praises President Tinubu for upholding Democratic Principles,Says Democracy is in Action.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for defending democratic principles.
He made this statement shortly after submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms in Abuja.
He highlighted that President Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress have ensured the democratic process succeeds within the party.
According to him, “So far so good. Democracy is in action. Thanks to the president, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, my father, for allowing the party to follow the proper process.”
He also took the opportunity to thank the All Farmers Association, Niger State branch, for contributing money to buy the forms for him. He said he will continue supporting the agricultural sector in return.
Senator representing the Niger East Senatorial District, Sen. Mohammed Sani Musa; House of Representatives Member representing Kontagora/Wushishi/Mariga/Mashegu Federal Constituency, Abdullahi Idris Garba; Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman, and other top government officials, friends, and well-wishers, accompanied the farmer-governor to submit the forms.
