Former APC Youth Leader Sadiq Abubakar Announces Departure Due to Nigerians’ Economic Hardship

Former All Progressives Congress (APC) National Youth Leader Sadiq Abubakar has announced his intention to leave the ruling party.
In an interview with Newsmen in Bauchi on Wednesday, Sadiq explained that his decision was influenced by the economic struggles faced by many Nigerian families caused by APC policies.
He said his move was motivated by a desire for transparency and fairness in future primaries, allowing him to serve the people with integrity.
Sadiq noted that he made his decision after discussions with family, friends, political allies, and stakeholders, following careful reflection on recent internal party developments.
“It is time to join a party with a clear vision and genuine concern for ordinary people. The APC’s processes are flawed; the party lacks fairness and justice. I am leaving because the electoral processes are biased, and consensus decisions are unfair.
I expect that the upcoming primaries will not be fair, as the party will likely depend only on incumbents.
Furthermore, the party’s actions have become increasingly difficult to accept, making it hard for families to put three meals on the table,” he said.
Sadiq also mentioned that he will soon reveal the new political party he plans to join.
