THREE YEARS OF BAGO IMPACT: URBAN RENEWAL AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
To enhance the movement of goods and services across the state, the Niger State Government has achieved over 40% completion of the ongoing construction, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of more than 1,200km of Federal and State roads, including bridges and drainage infrastructure.
* Paiko–Lapai Road – 49km (Completed)
* 6-Lane Minna Township Roads – 202.40km (100km completed)
* Ongoing Dualization of Minna–Bida Road – 82km (Traveling time reduced)
* Dual Carriage Bida Ring Road – 44km
* 25 LGAs Road Projects – 556km (Over 100km in Minna, over 60km each in Suleja and Kontagora, and a minimum of 5km in each of the other LGAs)
* Kontagora Ring Road – 28km/8.7km
* Dualization of Suleja–Minna Road in Niger State – 101km
* Minna–Kakaki Federal Road – 41km
* Rijau–Kontagora Federal Road – 90km
* Agwara–Borgu–Rofia Federal Road – 90km
* Construction of six (6) overhead bridges, including underpasses and pedestrian bridges
* Remodeling of the Three Arms Zone Housing Project
* Reconstruction of the Office of the Secretary to the State Government and facelift of the Niger State Government House
* Construction of the Hajj Camp at the Airport
* Ongoing construction and modification of the 5-Star Hotel, Minna
* *Remodeling of the Domestic Terminal of the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport and commencement of commercial operations.*
