“The Heart Doctors” to Provide Free Medical Outreach in Niger State.

A philanthropic organization known as “The Heart Doctors” from Greece is set to conduct a free medical outreach across five local government areas in Niger State.
This initiative was announced by Mrs. Eleni Sotirou, the leader of the delegation, during a courtesy visit to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago at the Niger State liaison office in Abuja.
The outreach will take place over a 10-day period and will benefit the communities in Shiroro, Munya, Agaie, Paikoro, and Chanchaga Local Government Areas.
Mrs. Sotirou commended Governor Bago for his significant contributions to the healthcare sector and other areas, highlighting the ongoing construction of an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp in Shiroro, the revitalization of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB) Specialist Hospital, and the improvements being made to primary healthcare facilities throughout the state.
She expressed gratitude for the governor’s hospitality and unwavering support during their humanitarian missions in Niger State.
In response, Governor Bago expressed his appreciation for the organization’s efforts in enhancing healthcare delivery in the state. He lauded the partnership with “The Heart Doctors” as a valuable contribution to his administration’s goal of promoting a healthier populace.
The visiting team also included Dr. John Sotirou, Mr. Pantelis Ypsilantis, Mrs. Mairi Ypsilantis, Mrs. Mairi Giataganas, Mr. George Giataganas, as well as the Niger State Coordinators, Dr. Mustapha Jibril Alheri and Adams Mustapha.
