The eldest son of former Minister of information,Prof Jerry Gana,who is now representing,Lavun, Edati and Mokwa at the National assembly,Hon Joshua Audu Gana said his appointment by the speaker house of representatives as a Deputy chairman house committee on power is a boost for his desire to raise the living standard’s of his constituencies through cottage industries.
Joshua who was speaking shortly after his nomination appreciated the speaker house of representatives,Hon Tajudeen Abbas who deemed it fit to appoint him as the Deputy Chairman of the committee on Power an indication that he is a leader devoid of acrimony.
`The speaker have no doubt vindicated himself that his leadership is beyond the usual political wranglings which hitherto brought the country to stagnation due to lack of cohesion amongst the key players”,Tajudeen is the man to take the present 10th assembly to envious height.” Gana remarks.
He pointed out that part of nine point agenda is to galvanise his three constituemcies for them to be self reliance with acquisition of skills through viable projects.
Meanwhile a statement from the media office of Hon Joshua, said his appointment as Deputy Chairman committee on power is due to Gana’s dedication and expertise in the field of power and energy.
