Dr. Umar Farooq Abdullahi Nupe Tafsir Organization Distributes Funds to Over 1,500 Beneficiaries
Dr. Umar Farooq Abdullahi Nupe Tafsir Organization successfully distributed funds to more than 1,500 beneficiaries. The donation was generously provided by His Excellency, Umaru Mohammed Bago, during his visit to the Tafsir on the 28th day of Ramadan.
In a statement issued by Haruna Mustapha, Affair Media Aide to the Director-General of the Bureau of Religious Affairs, the fund distribution was overseen by the Subcommittee Chairman, Mallam Danladi Abubakar Buhari. It took place at the Bosso Estate Jumu’at Mosque, located in the Bosso Local Government Area.
Imam (Dr.) Umar Farooq Abdullahi, mpi, (Wakilin Malaman Nupe), the Nupe Tafsir presenter and Director-General of the Niger State Bureau of Religious Affairs, expressed his deep appreciation to His Excellency for the visit.
He acknowledged the engagement with the Tafsir gathering and the generous support extended to the beneficiaries.
The Committee sincerely thanks His Excellency, Farmer Umaru Mohammed Bago, for visiting the Dr. Umar Farooq Abdullahi Nupe Tafsir Organization Center, under the capable leadership of Alh. Mohammed Nda (Makaman Kutigi).
They further stated that
Excellency’s presence at the venue clearly demonstrated his commitment and dedication to promoting Islam and fostering religious harmony in Niger State. It also reflects a leadership style rooted in faith, inclusivity, and community support.
The Nupe Ramadan Tafsir Committee also noted that the organization is pleased to confirm that the funds generously donated by His Excellency were received and distributed transparently to the intended beneficiaries, in accordance with the program’s goals.

In response, the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency Umaru Mohammed Bago for the donation and praised the committee for its transparent, well-organized disbursement process.
