NCDC Executive Director celebrates Gov Bago at 52, describes him as visionary Architect of New Niger

The Executive Director, Finance of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Tachi, has congratulated the Governor of Niger State, Farmer Mohammed Umar Bago, on the occasion of his 52nd birthday anniversary, describing him as “the architect of the Niger State of our dream.”
Prof. Nuhu Tachi, who is a former Honourable Commissioner in the state and Member of Sfate Executive Council, in a felicitation message issued on Sunday, said Governor Bago’s visionary leadership and transformative policies have set Niger State on the path of sustainable growth and prosperity.
He noted that the 52nd birthday of the Governor is not only a personal milestone but also a moment for the people of the state to reflect on the remarkable strides recorded under his administration across critical sectors of the economy.
According to the NCDC Executive Director, Governor Bago’s bold agricultural revolution, infrastructural renewal drive, and investments in youth empowerment and education have repositioned Niger State as a reference point for progressive governance in Nigeria.
“Farmer Governor Umaru Bago has demonstrated uncommon courage, foresight and commitment in piloting the affairs of our dear state. His passion for agricultural transformation and food security has not only restored hope to farmers but has also laid a solid foundation for economic diversification,” Prof. Tachi stated.
He described the Governor as a bridge-builder and reformer whose policies are gradually translating into tangible development, stressing that the ongoing reforms in the health, ICT, and education sectors have further strengthened human capital development in the state.
Prof. Tachi also commended Governor Bago’s inclusive leadership style, which he said has created opportunities for professionals, technocrats and young people to contribute meaningfully to governance.
“As we celebrate him at 52, we acknowledge his tireless dedication to building the Niger State of our collective aspiration, a state driven by innovation, productivity and shared prosperity. Indeed, he is the architect of the Niger State of our dream,” he added.
The NCDC Executive Director prayed for God to grant the Governor good health, wisdom and greater strength to continue steering the affairs of the state toward lasting development.
As a critical stakeholder of Niger State, Prof Nuhu Tachi reaffirmed his personal support for the Governor’s reform agenda, expressing optimism that the coming years would usher in even greater accomplishments for Niger State under his leadership and prayed for Allaah’s guidance and protection.
