Nasarawa CAN Election: Veteran Journalist Samson Osuko Likely to Win Chairmanship
Veteran journalist Samson Osuko is poised to become the next Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Nasarawa State Chapter, after being cleared by the CAN Electoral Committee ahead of the association’s chairmanship election.
His supporters nominated Osuko, who was then screened and cleared by the Electoral Committee to run unopposed.
The CAN election is scheduled to take place at the CAN Secretariat in Lafia, where delegates will elect a new leadership to guide the association in the state.
Although there have been reports of some interests trying to influence the nomination process, Osuko’s supporters remain confident that the election will be peaceful, transparent, and held in line with the association’s constitution.
Church leaders, colleagues, and well-wishers continue to support the veteran journalist, believing that his experience, leadership skills, and dedication will help boost unity and cooperation among Christians in Nasarawa State.
The election result is expected to bring a new chapter for the Christian Association of Nigeria in the state.
