Official Statement by Alh. Abubakar Yusuf (Danny), Wazirin Kontagora
I, Alh. Abubakar Yusuf (Danny), Wazirin Kontagora, extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed in various ways to my confirmation as Wazirin Kontagora.
I am particularly thankful to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Niger State, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago (Turakin Nupe), for his visionary leadership, guidance, and unwavering dedication to peace, unity, and development within Niger State.
My deepest appreciation also goes to His Royal Highness, Alhaji Muhammad Barau Mu’azu II, Sarkin Sudan Kontagora, for the honor and confidence bestowed upon me through this appointment.
I accept this role as a sacred trust and solemn duty to serve the Emirate with loyalty, integrity, humility, and dedication.
I sincerely thank Hon. Abdullahi Idris Garba (Mai-Solar), Member representing Kontagora, Mashegu, Mariga, and Wushishi Federal Constituency, for his ongoing support and encouragement.
My gratitude extends to the Executive Chairman of Kontagora Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Lawal Yusuf, the Local Government Council, the Kontagora Emirate Council, all District and Village Heads, traditional titleholders, religious leaders, elders, youths, women groups, and the entire community of Kontagora Emirate and Zone C for their overwhelming goodwill, prayers, and solidarity.
To my family, friends, colleagues, associates, and well-wishers across Niger State, the Federal Capital Territory, and beyond, I am profoundly grateful for your support, encouragement, and prayers.Your kindness and confidence motivate me.
As I assume this esteemed office, I do so with humility and a strong commitment to promoting peace, justice, unity, progress, and the rich traditions of Kontagora Emirate. I pledge to serve diligently in the interest of our people and humanity.
