Governor Umaru Bago Extends Christmas Greetings and New Year Wishes to Niger State Residents

Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has extended his warm congratulations to Christians in Niger State and around the world on the occasion of Christmas, honoring the birth of Jesus Christ.

In a holiday and New Year message released through Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago highlighted the significance of Christmas for Christians, emphasizing themes of love, humility, goodwill, and hope.

He urged citizens to use this period to deepen their faith in God and to pray for peace and prosperity in Niger State and Nigeria as a whole.

As the New Year approaches, the governor called on residents to renew their trust in God, maintain a positive outlook, and increase their efforts to serve as responsible citizens. His administration remains committed to effective governance and the realization of the New Niger agenda.

Governor Bago expressed confidence that 2026 will be a remarkable and fulfilling year, with his administration dedicated to pioneering initiatives that ensure sustained democratic dividends and rapid socio-economic development in the state.

Wishing everyone a joyful Christmas and a prosperous New Year, the governor also encouraged residents to remain vigilant regarding security and to report any suspicious activities promptly to security agencies.
