NSUBEB :Legislators Inspects School Reconstruction Projects in Agaie.

The Executive Chairman of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB), Dr. Ibrahim A. Liman, in collaboration with Hon. Mohammed Sani Idris, Chairman of the House Committee on Education, Science and Technology, conducted a joint inspection of ongoing legacy school projects in Agaie Local Government Area.
These initiatives, launched under the Farmer Governor–led administration, aim to transform selected public schools into modern, model institutions with contemporary facilities, thereby improving the quality of teaching and learning.
During the inspection, the team evaluated multiple phases of construction and renovation, including a 10-classroom high-rise building, an eight-classroom high-rise, a three-classroom block, and the remodeling of five three-classroom blocks.
Additional assessments covered the remodeling of a five-classroom block, an ICT center, two VIP toilet facilities, and a solar-powered borehole with an overhead water tank.
Hon. Mohammed Sani Idris praised NSUBEB’s leadership for transparency and effective collaboration with legislative authorities.
“This visit supports the House Committee’s oversight responsibilities,” he stated, expressing satisfaction with the progress and quality of the projects.
Upon completion, these projects are expected to offer a safer, more conducive, and resource-equipped learning environment for pupils in Agaie and neighboring areas.
This inspection highlights the current administration’s strong commitment to revitalizing basic education and providing all children in Niger State with access to modern, well-equipped public schools.
