Promote Unity and Peace During Ramadan: Niger State’s Attorney General Calls on Muslims

The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Niger State, Barrister Nasiru Mohammed Muazu, hosted an Iftar gathering that welcomed both Muslims and Christians.
He emphasized the importance of community unity as the holy month of Ramadan unfolds.
In his speech, while answering questions from reporters at the event, Barrister Muazu highlighted the significance of seeking divine intervention to address pressing issues that the state faces, particularly insecurity.He urged attendees to embrace the spirit of being their brother’s keeper during this sacred time.
The Attorney General reminded the Muslim of their essential role in fostering peaceful coexistence and contributing to nation-building throughout Ramadan.
He reiterated that the gathering was inclusive, welcoming individuals from all faiths and colleagues from the legal profession to strengthen the bonds of unity and cohesion.
He described Ramadan as a time for reflection that encourages compassion towards those less fortunate in society.
Barrister Muazu urged Muslims to express love and support for one another, regardless of differing beliefs, to promote unity.
In her remarks, Barrister Mairo Mann, the State Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice, reinforced the event’s purpose of fostering unity and understanding among practicing lawyers, the Muslim faithful, and all members of the community.
She expressed her hope that this inclusive dialogue would continue to strengthen bonds across different faiths in Niger State.
