Governor Umaru Bago Reinforces Commitment to Healthcare Development.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago welcomed 41 medical students from Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai, as they began their clinical training at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
He congratulated them on reaching this significant milestone and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting their development into skilled medical professionals.
To support their training, Niger State Governor Umaru Bago awarded each student ₦2 million and provided an 18-seater bus to ease transportation between their homes and academic facilities.
He also emphasized his administration’s dedication to completing the IBBU Teaching Hospital. According to him, this essential project aims to enhance medical education and healthcare services and address workforce needs within Niger State.
The Farmer Governor praised the students for their dedication and encouraged them to give back to Niger State’s healthcare system after finishing their studies.
