NUT Appoints New Chairman for Teachers’ Social Security Scheme.

The State Wing Executive Council of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Niger State Council, has officially appointed Mallam Jaafar Ahmed as the new Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Teachers’ Social Security Scheme, known as Endwell.
A statement from Comrade Musa Kuta Umaru, the Senior Assistant Secretary General of the Union, confirms that this appointment, which is for an initial term of three years, took effect from January of this year.
In congratulating Jaafar Ahmed on his new role, the Union encouraged him to utilize his extensive experience to propel the Teachers’ Endwell scheme toward greater achievements.
The Union highlighted that this appointment signifies recognition of his capabilities and competence in enhancing the scheme and strengthening the trust between the union and its members.
Additionally, the Union assured the new Chairman, Mallam Jaafar Ahmed, of the unwavering support of the State Wing Executive as he undertakes his responsibilities.
Upon accepting his new appointment, Mallam Jaafar Ahmed pledged to honor the trust placed in him and to carry out his duties with sincerity and in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Teachers’ Endwell scheme.
