Nigeria Union of Journalists approved Saturday August, 10 2024 for the Triennial delegates conference in Minna.
The National Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ has approved Saturday August 10, 2024 for the Triennial delegate conference and the inauguration of the State Working Committee of the Niger State Council of the Union.
The inauguration is expected to be performed by National Secretariat officials led by the National President Dr Chris Isiguzo and Zone D (North Central) officials of the Union led by the Vice President Comrade Chris Atsaka at the IBB Pen House Minna at 11am.
The Activities lined up for the event include the Congress of the Union during which the outgoing EXCO will present its Secretariat report, as well as some constitutional proceedings
Chairmen and Secretaries of Chapels are hereby informed and enjoined to adequately mobilize members towards the success of the inauguration.
The Acting Governor Comrade Yakubu Garba is expected to be the Special Guest of Honour , while members of the state executive council , Special and veterans of the pen profession are all expected at the the event
We also extend invitation to our, associates and friends of the Union to honour us at the occasion.
