DDG Lameen Aliyu Celebrates Information Minister Idris at 60, Praises His Key Role in National Communication.

The Deputy Director General of the APC Support Groups Council, North Central, Alhaji Lameen Aliyu, has congratulated the Honorable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on his 60th birthday.
Aliyu described him as “a pillar of strategic communication and a steady voice in advancing national unity.”
In a statement issued in Abuja, Aliyu praised the Minister’s distinguished career in journalism, public service, and national information management, noting that his contributions have greatly strengthened government communication and public engagement.
He emphasized that the milestone is not just about age but represents a recognition of a life dedicated to service, professionalism, and nation-building.
“Reaching 60 years is a remarkable achievement, reflecting decades of impactful service, integrity, and dedication to Nigeria’s development,” Aliyu stated.
Aliyu commended Idris for his leadership at the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, especially in effectively communicating government policies and achievements under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He noted improvements in the cooperation between government agencies and the media, along with increased public awareness of reforms across sectors such as the economy, infrastructure, and social development.
The Deputy Director General highlighted the Minister’s role in promoting responsible journalism, national cohesion, and accurate information dissemination, especially when reliable communication is essential for good governance and public trust.
“His professionalism and calm, effective communication style have greatly helped boost confidence in government policies and programs,” he added.
