Etsu Nupe mourns death of Busu Village Head.

The Yahaya Abubakar, the Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers has expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Village Head of Busu in Busu District of Lavun Local Government Area of Niger State, Alhaji Adamu Zubairu.
The royal father described the passing of the community leader as a painful loss not only to the people of Busu but to the entire Nupe Kingdom.
Etsu Nupe said the late Alhaji Adamu Zubairu served his community with dedication, wisdom and a deep sense of responsibility, noting that his leadership contributed significantly to peace, unity and grassroots development in Busu and its environs.
The monarch said the late village head demonstrated remarkable commitment to the wellbeing of his people and remained a dependable custodian of the customs and traditions of the Nupe people throughout his lifetime.
According to him, the death of the traditional ruler has created a vacuum in the traditional leadership structure of Busu, adding that the late Alhaji Adamu Zubairu would be remembered for his humility, accessibility and unwavering devotion to the service of his community.
The Etsu Nupe urged the family of the deceased, the people of Busu District and the entire Lavun Local Government Area to take solace in the impactful life lived by the late village head and the legacies of service he left behind.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and give his family, Prof Jerry Gana, Haske Nupe, former Information Minister, associates and the entire Busu community the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The burial of the late Village Head of Busu, Alhaji Adamu Zubairu, is scheduled to take place at 4 p.m. in accordance with Islamic rites.
