APC Aspirant Maimuna Raji Egigogo Continues Consultation, Visits Party Chairman in Lapai
An All Progressives Congress (APC) aspirant for the Lapai/Azza State House of Assembly seat, Hon. Maimuna Raji Egigogo, has continued her consultations ahead of the party primaries with a visit to the APC chairman of Lapai Local Government, Hon. Usman Achitukpa.
She was received by the party chairman and his entourage at his residence.
The visit forms part of her ongoing engagement with APC party stakeholders across the constituency.

In her remarks, Hon. Egigogo said the purpose of the visit was to pay courtesy visit to the party leader and to seek broader consultation among stakeholders, acknowledging the efforts of party stakeholders in uniting the APC and praising the leadership of Hon. Usman Achitukpa for his dedication and inclusive approach.

Hon. Maimuna further reaffirmed her commitment to the party leadership, promising to be accountable, transparent, and accessible if given the mandate to represent Lapai Constituency.
Earlier, the head of the delegation, Dr. Abubakar Raji Egigogo, reaffirmed Hon. Maimuna’s zeal and passion to contest for the House of Assembly representing Lapai/Azza constituency, stating that such conviction stems from her personal commitment to community development.

Dr. Raji solicited the support of the party and its stakeholders for Hon. Maimuna’s aspiration.
In his closing remarks, the party chairman, Hon. Usman Achitukpa, expressed appreciation for the courtesy visit and praised Hon Maimuna for her courage, acknowledging the family support behind her cause despite her gender and promised to ensure party inclusiveness in the process.
The visit marks another step in Hon. Egigogo’s grassroots engagement as she seeks the party ticket for the Lapai constituency.
