President Ahmed Bola Tinubu’s emphasis on strategic communication, public engagement, and combating misinformation reflects his understanding that trust and accurate information are key to effective governance.
Alhaji Mohammed Idris, Minister of Information and National Orientation, stated this in a congratulatory message celebrating President Tinubu’s 74th birthday on Sunday.
He remarked, “This is a moment to celebrate a leader whose courage and clarity of purpose continue to guide Nigeria through significant reforms and national renewal. The President’s commitment to making tough decisions for long-term stability has set the country on a path of recovery and growth.”
The Minister explained that the President’s focus on transparency, responsible communication, and national unity remains central to his work at the ministry, adding that, “the renewed focus on strategic communication, public engagement, and the fight against misinformation reflects your understanding that trust and accurate information are essential to governance.”
While acknowledging the President’s service to the nation and his dedication to building a country that works for all Nigerians, the Minister prayed that God grants him continued strength, good health, and wisdom to lead the nation toward greater progress and stability.
