Gov. Bago, Ndarani partnership key to accelerating Niger South development — Ndarani SAN DG

The Director-General of the Ndarani SAN Senatorial Organisation (NDASSO), Engr. Mohammed Dagachi Etsugaie, has said that a strategic partnership between Gov. Mohammed Umaru Bago and Barrister Mohammed Ndarani (SAN) would fast-track development in Niger South Senatorial District.
Dagachi Etsugaie stated this in a statement on Sunday in Minna, noting that the people of Niger South were eager for purposeful leadership and sustainable development.
He said that the partnership between Gov. Bago and Ndarani would provide the synergy required to advance the governor’s development agenda, known as the “New Niger Project.”
According to him, Ndarani, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and senatorial aspirant for Niger South in the 2027 general elections, is committed to providing competent representation and legislative support that would complement the governor’s vision for the state.
“The people of Niger South are poised for development, and the partnership between Gov. Umaru Bago and Barrister Mohammed Ndarani (SAN) holds the key to unlocking numerous opportunities for the district and the state at large,” he said.
Dagachi Etsugaie explained that the proposed collaboration would prioritise infrastructure development across the senatorial district, particularly projects such as the Baro Port, Bida Basin development, and the Minna–Baro and Minna–Abuja railway corridors.
He added that improving rural road connectivity and promoting economic empowerment for communities across the zone would also be among the major priorities of the partnership.
The NDASSO director-general further stated that the alliance would champion people-centred policies, strengthen good governance, and reposition the education sector to make it more productive and beneficial to the people.
He also noted that the collaboration would help strengthen Niger State’s position in Nigeria’s development narrative by promoting policies that encourage economic growth and inclusive development.
Dagachi Etsugaie described Gov. Bago as a visionary leader whose innovative approach to governance had continued to attract attention, adding that Ndarani’s experience and dedication to public service would provide the legislative support needed to advance the administration’s development goals.
He therefore called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and party faithful across the state to support the envisioned partnership.
According to him, the collaboration between the two leaders represents a unique opportunity to advance the interests of Niger South and place the state on a sustainable path of growth and development.
