Mohammed Nma Kolo Elected North Central Zonal Coordinator of Badminton Federation of Nigeria
The Chairman of the Niger State Badminton Association, Mohammed Nma Kolo (Jawon Minna), has been elected as the North Central Zonal Coordinator of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria.
The election was held on February 25, 2026, in Jos, Plateau State, where Kolo secured a decisive victory.
He received five votes to defeat his opponent from Kwara State, Abdul Fatai, who got two votes. With this win, Mohammed Nma Kolo will serve a four-year term on the board of the Badminton Federation of Nigeria, representing the North Central Zone. His victory marks a significant milestone for the zone and shows the confidence delegates have in him.
In his acceptance speech, Kolo expressed sincere gratitude to the delegates for trusting him. He promised to start working immediately and to partner with stakeholders to improve and promote badminton development across the North Central Zone and Nigeria as a whole.
