Governor Umaru Bago Presides Over Swearing-In of High Court Judges and Khadis in Niger State
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has officially sworn in four High Court judges and three Khadis in Niger State.
The ceremony took place at the Niger State liaison office in Abuja and was presided over by Governor Bago.
He explained that he utilized the presence of the Niger State Chief Judge, Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik, and other judiciary officials in Abuja for the ongoing Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee meeting to conduct the oath-taking.
Governor Bago congratulated the appointees, emphasizing that their elevation reflects their dedication and hard work. He urged them to approach their responsibilities with seriousness and uphold fairness in their duties.
He also assured them of his administration’s continued support to facilitate their success.
The event was witnessed by the Chief Judge of Niger State, Justice Halima Ibrahim Abdulmalik; her Gombe State counterpart, Justice Halima Sadiya Muhammad; Grand Khadi of Niger State, Mohammed Abubakar Kigera; along with other judicial officials, family members, and supporters.
The judges sworn in included Abubakar Adamu, Ahmad Bala Ndajiwo, Gambo Sa’adatu Abubakar, and Wushishi Sulaiman Buhari. The Khadis included Aboki Usman Abdulrahman, Mohammed Ya’aba, and Muhammad Nasir Ibrahim.
The ceremony was a significant milestone, marked by the presence of distinguished judiciary officials and community members.
