Jakadan Borgu Congratulates Christians, Praises Gov. Bago’s Courageous Security Measures

The Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Inter-Governmental Affairs, Hon. Abdulrazaq Mua’azu Jikantoro (Jakadan Borgu), has conveyed heartfelt Christmas and New Year greetings to Christian communities across Niger State, emphasizing the season as a period for reflection, unity, and renewed hope.
The Commissioner commended His Excellency, Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, for his decisive leadership and proactive collaboration with the Federal Government, which led to the successful rescue of the remaining abducted students and teachers of St. Mary’s School, Papiri.
He noted that this development brought significant relief to affected families and demonstrated the Governor’s steadfast dedication to protecting lives and restoring peace throughout the state.
Hon. Abdulrazaq urged Christians to utilize the festive season to foster unity, advocate for peaceful coexistence, and pray for the security and progress of Niger State and Nigeria as a whole.
He also expressed appreciation to the staff of the Ministry for their commitment and loyalty, while praying for safe travels and divine protection for all during the Yuletide season.
The Commissioner extended his wishes for a joyful Christmas celebration and a prosperous New Year to all citizens.
