All Saints Anglican Church, Bida, Celebrates Milestone 15th Anniversary with Spiritual Revival and Community Recognition.

All Saints Anglican Church in Bida, Niger State, recently marked its 15th anniversary with a five-day celebration filled with praise, spiritual worship, and community recognition.
The event highlighted the church’s significant growth since its establishment in November 1999 under the leadership of Bishop Jonah G. Kolo, starting from humble beginnings at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Zakari.
The anniversary festivities included a series of sermons and deliverance sessions aimed at fostering spiritual growth among congregants.
Notably, Rev Dr. A. A. Isaac from Lokoja delivered a powerful sermon on overcoming adversity, using scriptures from 1 John 4:1, Nehemiah 4:6, and 1 Samuel 30:8 to remind worshippers of God’s unwavering support in challenging times.
On the final day, Apostle Philip Wealth, Lead Pastor of the Rest International Gospel Centre, emphasized the importance of contentment, referring to Jesus as the “bread of life” from John 6:35 as he encouraged attendees to be grateful for their blessings.
The event culminated in a ceremony honoring dedicated church members with certificates and awards for their remarkable contributions to the church’s growth. Rev Canon E.O. Johnson, vicar of All Saints Anglican Church and Chairman of the Bida District Church Council, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees, particularly the clergy, for reinvigorating the faith of the congregation.
Mama Ruth Johnson, the vicar’s wife, also acknowledged the efforts of various committees, especially the feeding committee, for ensuring all guests were well cared for during the celebrations.
This anniversary not only commemorated 15 years of spiritual service but also served as a reminder of the community’s devotion and the church’s ongoing mission to uplift and support its members.
