GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO URGES MUSLIMS TO EMBODY THE VIRTUES OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD AND CONTINUE PRAYING FOR LEADERS AND SOCIETY.

As Muslims around the world celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has called on them to strive to embody the virtues exemplified by the Holy Prophet.
In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, on the occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, Governor Bago emphasized that this period should serve as an opportunity for both deep reflection and celebration for all Muslims.
He highlighted the significance of the Eid-El-Maulud celebration, which promotes spiritual renewal, unity, and acts of charity.
Governor Bago remarked that the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is a tremendous gift and blessing for all Muslims, as it brought guidance and the divine revelation of the Holy Quran to humanity.
He praised the exemplary life of the Holy Prophet, which was characterized by humility, compassion, kindness, sacrifice, integrity, justice, and commitment—values that are worthy of emulation.
In his congratulatory message to all Muslims on this significant occasion, Governor Bago encouraged them to use this time to make new commitments that would deepen their understanding of Islamic teachings and promote sustained peaceful coexistence.
He also urged Muslims to pray for the President and all other leaders in political, religious, and traditional domains, seeking Allah’s wisdom, guidance, and protection for effective governance.
Furthermore, the Governor called for prayers aimed at achieving lasting peace and prosperity, both within Niger State and across Nigeria.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago reaffirmed his commitment to transforming Niger State into a region that fosters significant socioeconomic development for all its residents.
