NLC Chairman Expresses Condolences Over the Passing of Elder Statesman Abubakar Magaji

Comrade Idrees Abdulkareem Lafene, Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and President of the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), has extended heartfelt condolences on behalf of his family and all civil servants within the state and local governments following the death of elder statesman Abubakar Magaji. The former Permanent Secretary of the Niger State Ministry of Finance passed away at the IBB Specialist Hospital in Minna after a prolonged illness.
In a statement released through his Media Aide, Mohammed Ndanusa Isako, Comrade Lafene described Magaji as a remarkable individual who embodied the grace and blessings of Allah, having lived a life dedicated to service and community.
He prayed that Allah forgives the deceased’s shortcomings, grants him Aljanna Firdausi, and provides comfort to his immediate and extended family, as well as the Kagara Emirate and the people of Niger State during this difficult time.
Comrade Lafene emphasized the need for strength and resilience as they navigate this irreplaceable loss.
