Niger State Scholarship Board Initiates Physical Verification for 2025 Scholarship Recipients.

The Niger State Scholarship Board has announced the commencement of physical verification for students enrolled in various higher institutions across Nigeria.
This verification process is set to begin on March 17, 2025, for the first batch of selected schools.
In a recent statement, the board emphasized the importance of attendance for students who have successfully applied through the scholarship portal.
Participants are required to bring essential documents, including a photocopy of their admission letter, student identification card, letter of local government of origin, receipt of school fee payment, and the printout of their scholarship application.
The first batch of institutions scheduled for this verification includes:
1. Usman Danfodiyo University (UDUS), Sokoto
2. Ibrahim Babangida University (IBBU), Lapai
3. Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna
4. Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria
5. Bayero University Kano (BUK), Kano
6. College of Education (COE), Minna
7. Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru
8. School of Health Technology, Minna
9. Federal Polytechnic, Bida
10. Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna
11. Kaduna State University, Kaduna
12. Minna Institute of Technology, Minna
The Statement further stated that Officials from the Scholarship Board, representatives from the registrars and deans of students’ affairs from each institution, along with presidents and secretaries of the NANISS from their respective local chapters or their representatives, will oversee the physical verification exercise.
As a reminder, the portal for scholarship applications was open from January 14 to February 14, 2025, allowing eligible students, including the new intake and current students, to apply for the 2025 scholarship.
