Niger State Government Reinforces Dedication to Infrastructural Development

The Niger State Government has reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to infrastructural development and the ambitious New Niger Agenda.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Chief Press Secretary to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, Bologi Ibrahim, highlighted the governor’s deep investment in the state’s Urban-Rural Renewal Projects.
While acknowledging concerns about the slow pace of some ongoing projects, Ibrahim clarified that recent reports suggesting Governor Bago regrets securing a ₦1 trillion loan for these initiatives are misinterpretations.
At a recent meeting with contractors, the Farmer Governor expressed his concerns about project delays but emphasized that he does not regret the financial commitments made to enhance infrastructure in the state.
Muhammad Umaru Bago is determined to ensure that all ongoing projects are completed without further setbacks, as adequate funding is available.
The Niger State Government is set to launch the second phase of its Urban-Rural Renewal Projects by the end of this year, with a focus on effective resource utilization.
Bologi Ibrahim urged the public to dismiss misleading reports and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparency by routinely publishing financial statements in national dailies.
