Governor Bago Inaugurates Jumma’a Mosque Built in honour of Late Alh Ibrahim Nasiru Mokwa.

Niger State Governor Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has inaugurated a Jum’at Mosque built in honour of late Alh. Ibrahim Nasiru Mokwa, father to Assistant Comptroller General Customs ACG Ahmed Nasir Rtd.
The Jum’at Mosque located in Shanu Village was constructed in honour of Late Alh. Ibrahim Nasiru by his Children and grandchildren.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago commended the lineage of the Late Alh. Ibrahim Nasiru Mokwa for building a Mosque in his honour saying, the blessings he will be receiving from Allah cannot be quantified.
Farmer Umaru also Prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of all those who have passed on and for him to continue to guide his servants to the right path.
He called on the Community members to take ownership of the Mosque by taking good care of it while also stating his intention to build an Islamic School close to it to help in the propagation of Islam.
The Farmer Governor also used the medium to inform the Community members of his plans to construct a Primary Healthcare Centre and provide them with a transformer in line with their demands.
Farmer Umaru Bago also disclosed that he will be coming around periodically to listen to the plight of the people of Shanu Community with a view to addressing them.
Earlier, ACG Ahmed Nasiru Rtd, who spoke on behalf of the family of late Alh. Ibrahim Nasiru Mokwa appreciated Farmer Governor Bago for honouring the family stating that, the decision to build a Mosque in honour of the Late Nasiru Mokwa was in continuation of his contribution to the growth of Islam saying, his late father was passionate about building Mosques.
He said, the honour done to their late father was also a form of emulating his good gestures of serving humanity.
The Deputy Chairman, Jama’atul Bidi’ah Wa Ikamatul Sunna JIBWIS Niger State Chapter, Mal. Jibril Abdallah in his sermon before leading the two unit congregational prayers emphasized on the bountiful rewards from Allah given to those who construct Mosques saying, It is one of the deeds that attracts countless blessings from Allah.
He called on Muslims to strive hard towards assisting in the propagation of Islam as good deeds always leads individuals to the right path.
