Condolence Message on the Tragic Petroleum Tanker Accident in Diko, Niger State

It is with profound sadness that I, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, CON, of the Niger East Senatorial District, extend my heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of those who tragically lost their lives in the devastating petroleum tanker accident in Diko over the weekend.
As of the latest reports, more than 80 lives have been lost, and many others are currently receiving treatment in hospitals.
May Allah (SWT) grant the departed Aljannah Firdaus and provide their families with the strength to bear this immense loss. For those injured, I pray for their swift and complete recovery.
This tragic incident highlights the urgent need for increased caution and adherence to safety standards on our highways.
I strongly advise against reckless driving and urge drivers, operators, and all road users to strictly follow traffic and safety regulations to prevent unnecessary loss of life and injuries.
Additionally, I appeal to citizens to avoid approaching accident scenes, especially those involving flammable vehicles, for their own safety.
I would also like to thank all relevant agencies for their swift response, evacuation efforts, and the support provided to victims at the accident scene. Your dedication during such trying times is deeply appreciated.
Let us all reflect on this tragedy and work together to ensure our highways are safer for everyone. May Allah continue to protect us and guide us in all our endeavors.
