Niger State Government Receives More Machinery for Agricultural Mechanization

The Niger State government has received additional mechanized agricultural equipment from a renowned American firm specializing in manufacturing agricultural machinery.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, who is known as the “Farmer Governor,” inspected the equipment at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in the Bosso local government area as part of his ongoing statewide project inspections.
He expressed his satisfaction with the quality of the equipment and expressed confidence that his agricultural policy and “Feed the Nation” agenda will continue to promote the national initiative for food security.
The inspected equipment included combined harvesters, planters, fertilizer sprayers, boom sprayers, harrows, ploughs, and rotavators.
Additionally, the former governor inspected the ongoing construction at the Hajj Terminal and praised the contractor for their work.
