Farmers’ Governor Umaru Bago Acts as Father of the Bride at the Wedding Fatiha of Rahmat Al Qasim and Abdulrahman Imran

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, was among numerous guests and well-wishers who attended the wedding fatiha of Rahmat Binta Al Qasim and Abdulrahman Imran. The ceremony took place at the Zeenatul Muslimeen Society Mosque in Minna.
Governor Umaru Bago, who served as the father of the bride, urged the groom to be responsible and always support his wife, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet. He advised the couple to practice patience with one another and to live according to the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Hadith.
The Governor prayed for a peaceful union and abundant blessings from Allah on the newlyweds.
The Chief Imam of the Zeenatul Muslimeen Society Mosque, Malam Zakariyya Bin Swalihu, conducted the wedding fatiha and pronounced Abdulrahman and Rahmat Binta married after confirming the payment of N100,000 as the bride price by the groom’s representative, AbdulRahman Ayelabowo. He encouraged the couple to be tolerant of one another and to remain steadfast in their prayers while praying for their success in all their endeavors.
A sermon was delivered by Sheikh Abdulgafar Salman on the topic “Building a Good Islamic Home.” In his address, he urged all Muslim parents to adhere to the teachings of the Quran, which serves as a guiding principle for all Muslims.
The bride, Rahmat Binta Al Qasim, is the daughter of Bilaal Qasim Muhammad Adebayo, who is the Coordinator of Media Relations.
