NUT Chanchaga Local Government Branch Elects New Executives

New officials have been elected to manage the affairs of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Chanchaga Local Government Branch for the next four years.
The election, held at the Government Girls Secondary School in Minna, was praised as one of the best and most peaceful in the history of the NUT Chanchaga Local Government Branch.
The newly elected officials are Comrade Hussaini Ibrahim Shaba as Chairman, Comrade Nuhu Baban Mallam as Deputy Chairman, Aisha Haruna as Secretary, Hassana Abubakar as Treasurer, and Zainab Musa as Financial Secretary. The position of Publicity Secretary went to Hussaini Idris.
Additionally, Zainab Mohammed was elected as Social Director, while UBA Audu was appointed Assistant Secretary. The posts of First, Second, and Third Vice Chairmen were filled by Eba Mama AKK, Abubakar Yusuf Jimada, and Salihu Tanko Fari, respectively. Paulina Haruna and Aliyu Musa were elected as the First and Second Examiners of Accounts, respectively.
In his post-election speech, the newly elected Chairman of the NUT Chanchaga Local Government Branch, Comrade Hussaini Ibrahim Shaba, expressed gratitude to all the delegates and teachers in the local government for the trust placed in him. He promised not to let them down and assured that he would involve everyone in the decision-making process.
Comrade Shaba, who is also the Head Teacher of IBB Primary School in Minna, committed to an open-door policy, welcoming constructive suggestions and criticism on how to advance the Union.
In her vote of thanks, the newly elected Social Director of the Union, Hajiya Zainab Mohammed, also expressed appreciation to the delegates for their confidence in the new executives. She urged everyone to support and cooperate with the new leadership to ensure their success.
