Niger, Kogi Custom Command gets new Comptroller, warned smugglers to desist or face full wrath of the law.
The new Comptroller of the Niger, Kogi Command Pascal Chibuoke has taken over the mantle of the leadership of the command from Bamidele Makinde, who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Comptroller General of Customs.
In a press statement made available to Newsmen in Minna the spokes person of the command, Supretendent of Custom Munazzi Abdullahi,said the new Area Comptroller of the Nigeria Customs Service, Pascal Chibuoke, has warned smugglers to desist from their nefarious activities or face the full wrath of the law.
The statement quotes Pascal as saying”he is here to enforce the Comptroller General of Customs Bashir Adewale Adeniyi directives on revenue generation and to suppressed smuggling activities”.
He therefore enjoined officers and men to put more effort into consolidating the successes already recorded in the command, Nigeria Customs Service.
The outgoing Comptroller Bamidele Makinde thanked the leadership of the Nigeria Customs Service for the opportunity giving him to serve in the command and urged the officers and men of the command to extend the same support and cooperation to the new Area Comptroller
