Farmer Governor Umar Bago Congratulates NUJ, State Council Exco’s on their re-election.
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago congratulates the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Niger State Council, Comrade Abu Nmodu and other officials on their reelection to pilot the affairs of the Union for the next three years.
The farmer Governor in a congratulatory message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, says the reelection of Comrade Nmodu and other officials depict an exceptional team work and collective vision of the executive members for continued growth and development of the Union.
He observes that the Union has experienced unprecedented progress and development in the first tenure of the Comrade Nmodu led administration.
The farmer Governor enjoins the Chairman and other officials to redouble their efforts in serving members of the Union so as to consolidate on the gains, while also taking deliberate steps to eliminate quacks among them to further address the challenges of fake news.
He reminds both the executives and members of the NUJ Niger State Council of their roles in the Society and stresses the need for them to be objective in their reportage as they are critical stakeholders in his administration’s New Niger Agenda.
The farmer Governor reassures his administration’s unflinching support to the leadership and members of the Union, pointing out that the already existing cordial relationship between the State government and the Union would be strengthened for more mutually beneficial outcomes.
