Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru is among the numerous Muslim faithful that attended the funeral of late Jarman Minna, Alh. Abdul Abdullahi Paiko.
The funeral which attracted family members, friends and other associates was conducted at premises of the Place of the Emir of Minna..
Other top Government officials that were present were the Governor’s Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba, Head of Service, Alh. Salisu Abubakar, Chief of Staff, Abdullahi Usman Gbatamangi and other members of the State Executive Council.
The Farmer Governor thereafter joined other sympathisers to the Anguwar Daji Muslim cemetery for the interment.
At the cemetery, the Deputy Chief Imam of Minna, Mallam Isah Jibrin, prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest and grant the Family and the Minna Emirate the fortitude to bear the loss.
In a brief sermon at the Cemetery, the Director General, Religious Affairs, Mallam Umar Farooq Abdullahi, described the deceased as a devoted Muslim who lived a fulfilled life.
Mallam Umar Farooq reminded Muslims of the need to always live an exemplary life as death comes without notice.
After the burial, the Governor was also at the palace of the Emir of Minna, Alh. Umar Farooq Bahago, for a condolence visit, where special prayers were offered by Deputy Chief Imam for the late Jarman Minna.
