Tears as Niger governor’s wife organises 3-days Fidda’u prayer for late deputy governor’s wife
It was a moment of grieve at a three days special Fidda’u prayer organised by the Wife of Niger state Governor, Hajiya Fatima Bago, for late Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba, wife of the Niger State Deputy Governor.
the prayer session was held at the Justice Legbo Kutigi International conference centre in Minna on Friday.
Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba died on July 2, after a brief illness leaving behind her husband and two children.
Fatima Bago expressed sadness over the death of Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba, saying that her death has thrown the entire state into a moment of grieve.
She said the death of Hajiya Zainab Yakubu Garba came as a shock and the entire state sad was about it, adding that Almighty Allah the giver of life takes life whenever it pleases him.
We gathered here to pray for her soul, for Allah to make the grave easy for her,” she said.
The wife of the governor called on the entire people of the state to continue to pray for soul, saying that her death should serve as a lesson to all that death is inevitable.
Prayer were conducted by various islamic clergywomen such as a renoun islamic clergywoman in the State, Mallama Kadijat Zukogi, amongst others.
