Insecurity : Banditry to be thing of the past in Niger State Says State Commander Nasir.

Niger state Vigilante Corps says Kidnapping, Banditry and other criminal tendencies will soon be a thing of the past in the state.
The State Commander of the Corps, Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Manta stated this while speaking in a telephone conversation with our crime correspondent.
He said the candid unwavering support and cooperation being received by the state Government under the able leadership of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago are highly commendable.
Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Manta however appealed to Farmer Governor Umaru Bago for his unflinching continued support to Vigilante,the Police, the Army,and the SSS for the realization of the set objectives.
The state Vigilante Commander also acknowledged and appreciated the support and professional advice given to them by the state Commissioner of Police CP Ebenezer Shawulu Danmanmam in their collective efforts to rid the state of Armed Banditry and kidnapping in the state.
Alhaji Nasiru Manta who is also the peace Ambassador warned those parading themselves as state commanders in some Local Government areas in the state to desist forthwith as he remains the commander the Government of Umaru Bago recognized.
He equally advised those causing disunity and divisive tendencies within the corps to put their negatives mind aside and work inline with the vision,mission and mandates of the corps in safeguarding the lives and property of the people of the state and other residents.
Alhaji Nasiru Manta asserted that anyone caught in such act would be made to face to full wrath of the law as according to him such acts is against their constitution as well the purpose they were established.
The state Commamder of the Vigilante Corps also issues a stern warning to the members of Yandaba or sara suka groups in the state that their days are numbered as the Vigilante Corps has mapped out some strategies to deal with anyone caught in such act ruthlessly in accordance with the laws of our land.
Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Manta who assured the Government and people of Niger state of the Command’s commitment, vigour and determination to fight against criminality in the state also advised men and officers of his command in the state to remain firm and resolute towards the realization of the said goals.
