FUT Minna names Mrs Ndayako as Acting registrar.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta, has announced the appointment of Haj. Azumi Salamatu Ahmed Ndayako as the Acting Registrar of the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT, MINNA), pending the appointment of a substantive Registrar for the University.
This appointment, effective from June 12, 2024, was conveyed in a letter dated June 5, 2024, signed by the current Registrar.
Haj. Ndayako began her career at the University on July 1, 1987, as an Administrative Assistant. She steadily progressed through various ranks, becoming a Deputy Registrar on October 1, 2007. She holds a B.Sc. in Sociology from Bayero University, Kano (1983), and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Abuja (2006).
Mrs. Ndayako, originally from Bida, Niger State, has extensive experience both within and outside the University. She has served as a Member of the Implementation Committee of Abdulkadir A. Kure University in Minna, the Pioneer Registrar of Edusoko University in Bida, and a Member of the 4th and 5th Governing Councils of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBU) in Lapai.
She succeeds Mr. Amos N. Kolo, who completed a six-year tenure as the substantive Registrar, including a one-year extension beyond his initial five-year term.
