Court issues warrant to arrest officials of stanbic IBTC and North South Power Company.

High court 2 sitting in Minna Niger state has issued warrant of arrest to the management of stanbic IBTC Minna and Niorth South power Company for deliberate refusal to appear in court today.
The Presiding judge, Justice Abdullahi Mikailu gave the order today while giving ruling to an application forwarded to the court today during court sitting in minna.
The Prosecuting counsel, Senior Advocate of Nigeria Aliyu Lemu submit that the defendant after being served with sermon but failed to appear.
He therefore pray court to invoke section 252 of Niger State administration of criminal Justice act law to issued warrant of arrset to the defendant.
According to him, the defendant were arrainged before the court for their refusal to pay revenue due to the state government for some time now.
Counsel to the defendant,Barrister koroka of summit chamber submit that the defendant have not been properly serve because of Nationwide strike action as he has not communicate to them and that their refusal to appear is not a deliberate one.
Justice Mikailu after careful consideration of both submissions then adjourned the matter to the tenth of this month for the defendant to appear in their plea of criminal charged against them.
