NUJ felicitates with Alh Nma Kolo on his birthday, describes him as the nucleus of Niger politics.
The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Niger State Council, has congratulated the Special Adviser, Political and Strategy to State Governor Alhaji Mohammed Nma Kolo, on his birthday today.
ln a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the Union, the State Chairman of NUJ Comrade Abu Nmodu, described the celebrant as a friend and dependable ally of NUJ and appreciated him for his uncommon support to the Union.
Comrade Abu Nmodu said the life of Alhaji Nma Kolo, has been that of a father, a rallying point and role model to the present and future politicians, while adding value to the lives of the people and the administration in particular.
He recalled with nostalgia, the immeasurable contributions of Alhaji Nma Kolo to the advancement of democracy through media, building bridges of tolerance, understanding, peace and progress among diverse interests in the State.
The State Chairman of NUJ, said the unwavering support and assistance of Alhaji Nma Kolo, coupled with his media friendly nature and open door policy, inspired the Union to recognize him as the most outstanding public servant last year.
Comrade Abu Nmodu stressed that, the appointment of Alhaji Nma Kolo as Special Adviser Political and Strategy, to two different administrations in the state, was a clear demonstration of his tenacity in strengthening democratic structures in the State and the Nation as a whole.
The State NUJ Chairman noted with delight that the celebrant have a credible stewardship in a polity where public office holders alienate themselves from the people, describing him as a politician among politicians.
Comrade Abu Nmodu, then on behalf of all Journalists in the State, prayed God to grant him more years of sound health, wisdom and courage to continue to serve God and humanity, provide a reliable link between the government and governed as well as ensuring political stability at all levels.
