Farmer Governor Umaru Bago mourns Ahmadi NITECO Turakin Nupe.
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has commiserated with the Chairman Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers and Etsu Nupe, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar as well as Bida Emirate over the demise of Turakin Nupe, Alh. Ahmed Mohammed also known as Ahmadu NITECO.
The Farmer Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, said the death of Turakin Nupe is a huge loss to the Emirate and the State.
He acknowledged that the late Turakin Nupe lived a selfless and committed life to the growth and development of the Bida Emirate, pointing out that his likes are very much needed around the younger generation for counsel and guidance.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago however said he cannot question the act of Allah as He does not make mistake.
He prayed to Allah to forgive all the shortcomings of late Turakin Nupe and make Aljannah Firdausi his final abode.
While sympathizing with the Etsu Nupe, the family of the deceased and the entire Emirate over the loss, the Farmer Governor also prayed to Allah to comfort them.
Late Ahmadu NITECO was a famous business mogul and a former Director with the Vanguard Newspapers.
He is survived by a wife who is an elder sister to the wife of the Niger State Governor, many children and grandchildren.
