Dep. Gov. Yakubu attends Wedding Nikkah of Humaira, Niece to Governor Bago.
The niece to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State, Aisha Humaira Usman has been joined in a wedding Nikkah with Lt. Muhammad Haruna Jibrin.
The wedding Nikkah was conducted at F Layout, the family residence of the Governor and presided over by the Chief Imam of Minna Central Mosque, Mallam Ibrahim Isah Fari after the payment and receipt of N100 thousand as dowry.
Air Vice Marshal Haruna Abdulrasheed Mohammed retired who is also Barade Nupe stood in for the bride’s family while Gen. Abdulmalik Jibrin retired represented the groom’s family.
The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Comrade Yakubu Garba was accompanied by the secretary to the State Government and other key government officials.
Special prayers were offered for a peaceful and blissful marriage.
