Emir of Minna,Dr Umar Faruk Bahago Confered JAWON MINNA on Hon Nma Kolo.
The immediate past Special Adviser to Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello, on Political Matters, Alhaji Nma Kolo, has been conferred with the title of JAWON of Minna By His Royal Highness, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago.
The title, which is the first of its kind in the history of the Emirate, was conferred on Nma Kolo for his tremendous contribution to the development of the emirate and the State.
The letter of appointment of Mr Nna kolo was signed by the secretary of the emirate Council Alhaji Garba kuta
Speaking on behalf of JAWON of Minna, Alhaji Dattijo Aliyu, who doubles as the Sarkin Ruwa of Minna and Danmasani of Wushishi, thanked the entire Minna Emirate for the gesture, adding that Nma Kolo will continue to commit himself to development of the emirate and the state
Dattijo Aliyu further said the conferment of JAWON of Minna on Nma Kolo by Emir of Minna is a recognition of the spectacular roles Nma Kolo has been playing in promoting the ideals of the Minna Emirate Council over the years.
Meanwhile, the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, said the Council would continue to give honour to whom it is due, stressing that the conferment of the title on Nma Kolo would serve as a source of inspiration to those who might wish to emulate them.
