CONTROLLER GENERAL OF CORRECTIONS HALIRU NABABA MOURNS DCC LAWAL:

The Controller General of corrections, Haliru Nababa, FICMC, MFR, mni has condoled the family of late DCC. Lawal Awal.
He described the death of the deceased as a great loss not only to the family, but to the service and the nation in general.
He prayed Allah to forgive his shortcomings, Grant him Jannatil firdausi and give the family, service, relations and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Controller General was represented at the funeral prayers by the CC P&G at the National headquarters GT Abubakar in company of office manager, DCC Idris Nyama and DCC Yahaya Nma Minna.
Other dignitaries who paid condolence visit to the family home of the deceased officer includes the Executive Governor of Niger state, Alh Abubakar Sani Bello who was also represented by his chief of staff Alh. Balarabe Ibrahim, the DCG Non custodial, Ahmed M.Tukur fsi, MFR amongst others.
The deceased DCC Lawal Awal died in Minna on Friday 19th May,2023 after driving himself to the hospital for a brief illness.
The deceased DCC Lawal was until death the officee in charge medical/ HR at state command headquarters of the Nigerian correctional service Niger state.
