Candidate Commits Suicide Over Low JAMB Score.

The controversy surrounding the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has taken a tragic turn with the suicide of 19-year-old Tmilehin Faith Opesusi, who scored a low mark of 190.
Opesusi, originally from Abeokuta but residing in Odogunyan, Ikorodu, Lagos State, with her older sibling, was described by neighbors as “gentle and humble.”
According to Our Source, Opesusi ingested rat poison on Monday.
One of her close friends reported that she expressed distress over her disappointing results before taking the poison.
Neighbors became concerned when Opesusi asked for palm oil at her sister’s office to alleviate the pain from what she had ingested at home. Realizing the seriousness of the situation, her sister raised the alarm, drawing attention from those nearby.
While on the way to the hospital, Opesusi reportedly confessed to taking poison before visiting her sister’s office. Unfortunately, she passed away at Kolak Hospital in Odogunyan, Ikorodu.
Tragically, just thirty minutes after her death, she received a provisional admission notification via her Gmail account. Her parents have since taken her remains back to Abeokuta for burial.
