Gov. Bago appoints Labaran Garba as special adviser on labour matters
Niger state Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has appointed Comrade Garba Labaran, as Special Adviser on Labour Matters.
The appointment letter was signed by the Secretary to the Niger state Government, Alhaji Abubakar Usman, saying the appointment takes effect from June 1, 2024.
The governor said the appointment was based on his past records of performance, proven credentials, personal integrity and experience.
Bago said Comrade Garba Labaran is expected to work to justify the confidence reposed on him by the appointment.
The governor advised him to comply with the provision of Code of Conduct for declaration of asset by public officers.
Until his appointment, Comrade Garba Labaran is the immediate past Secretary General of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Niger state Chapter.
