IBB Congratulates Tambarin Kagara on his appointment SA Diaspora to Kano State Governor

Former military President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida has congratulated Dr. Umar Danladi Abdulhameed
(Tambarin Kagara) on his appointment as Special Adviser (SA) to the Governor of Kano State Alhaji Abba Yusuf
Babangida while receiving him to bless his appointment at uphill Manson in Minna, called on other governors in the country to emulate Abba Gida Gida who based appointments on merit, describing Abdulhameed as a worthy and reliable fellow.
In his acceptance remarks, the newly appointed Diaspora Special Adviser said that it’s a big challenge that requires dedication, hardwork and honest loyalty to achieve success
Abdulhameed who is the elder of NNPP in Niger state and 2023 Niger North Senatorial candidate disclosed that this appointment portrays Kano State governor as a detrabalized leader who believes in merit and good credentials for all appointments.
He emphasized that he was impressed with the mentorship of former governor of Kano State, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso as a role model to most young Nigerians while assuring to justify the confidence reposed in him.
Special Adviser on Diaspora is mandated to mobilize Kanawa from all walks of life and all over the globe to key in to the government of Kano state which is aimed at encouraging all Kanawa to participate in the Kano democracy.
