NUJ Newsline Chapel Mourns Elizabeth Gogo Gana, Extols Her Virtues

The Newsline Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Mrs. Elizabeth Gogo Gana, wife of the News Editor of Newsline Newspaper and Vice Chairman of the Niger State Council of the union, describing her as a woman devoted to God and humanity.
In a condolence message signed by the Secretary of the chapel, Akawu Ibrahim, the union said it received the news of her passing with shock and sadness, noting that her death has left a painful vacuum in the lives of family members, friends, colleagues, and the journalism community in Niger State.
The statement described the late Elizabeth Gogo Gana as a humble, compassionate, and God-fearing woman whose life positively impacted many people through her kindness, faith, and dedication to family and community service.
According to the chapel, although death is inevitable, the loss of a loved one remains difficult to bear, especially someone remembered for her selfless service and virtuous lifestyle.
The union, however, expressed faith that the deceased had gone to rest with her Creator after living a life worthy of emulation.
It prayed God to grant her husband, the Gana family, relatives, friends, and associates the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The Newsline Chapel further urged members of the journalism profession and all those affected by the tragedy to take solace in the enduring legacy of kindness and goodwill left behind by the deceased.
Mrs. Elizabeth Gogo Gana was remembered for her commitment to humanity and the positive influence she had on people around her.
