APC Support Groups Council North Central Praises APC Primaries, Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

The APC Support Groups Council – North Central has congratulated all victorious candidates in the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial and House of Representatives primaries across Niger, Kwara, Kogi, Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau States, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The Deputy Director General Alhaji Lameen Aliyu, the Council described the successful conduct of the primaries as a sign of the ruling party’s growing strength, internal democracy, and organizational capacity.
In a post-election statement, the Council praised the APC leadership, electoral committees, stakeholders, delegates, security agencies, and party members for their collective efforts in ensuring peaceful, transparent, and credible primaries.
The Council noted that these primaries strengthen APC’s democratic credentials and position the party well for greater victories in the 2027 general elections.
Congratulating the winners, the Council urged them to be gracious in victory and to promote inclusiveness, reconciliation, and unity within the party ahead of the elections.
It emphasized that maintaining peace and cohesion inside the party is essential to advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The APC Support Groups Council also called on unsuccessful aspirants to stay calm, loyal, and committed to the party’s ideals, emphasizing that politics is a continuous journey of service.
The Council advised all party members to display sportsmanship and to avoid actions that could threaten unity, peace, or electoral prospects.
“As a progressive family, the APC is greater than individual ambitions,” the statement declared, stressing that collective interests and party stability are most important.
Finally, the Council expressed confidence that upcoming primaries nationwide will uphold fairness, justice, transparency, and internal democracy. It commended the APC leadership at both the national and state levels for maintaining order and credibility during the electoral process.
